First, wash and dry your rocks before you begin painting.
Paint the bottom of the rock. Let it dry, then flip it over and paint it with the same color as the bottom. You can paint more than one coat for a clearer color.
Once your rock dries completely, paint a black heart or circle on the front of it. This is bug’s face.
And add your own patterns on its body. Stripes, dots, zig-zags, criss-cross, whatever you want!
To paint small areas, use the other side of the paint brush. If you want, use a fine point permanent marker to add detail.
Then paint eyes and a mouth on the face. You can also glue on some googly eyes.
