How To Paint A Monochromatic Landscape

First draw an outline of hills with pencil from front to back on a white paper and draw cities in front.
Then choose one color that you want. Mix the color with lots of white and paint the sky.
Add a little more color to make paint darker and paint the furthest hills. Continue adding more color and mixing black and paint all the hills from farthest to nearest.
At last fill in the cities in the front with a paint of a color and lots of black mixed together.
This painting seems to fade out from front to back. This sense of distance creates an atmospheric perspective.
