How To Make A Birthday Pop-Up Card

We’re going to write our age in front of the card and make that much number of candles pop up when you open the card.
Let’s start with the pop-up candles! Fold your white card stock in half. I’m going to make an eleven year old birthday card. Cut five sets of about one inch from the folded side of the card. These are the parts that will pop-up. You can change the number and size however you like.
Crease the five sections that were created by cutting.
Open the cardstock and turn the sections inside out.
Close the card again without folding them back to pop-up the sections for the candles.
Take a new cardstock and fold it in half to make outside of your pop-up card.
Glue the white pop-up card onto the colored cardstock.
Cut the eleven candles and candle lights from the colored cardstock. Glue six candles between the pop-up sections.
And glue five candles on each of pop-up sections of the card.
It is a nice card full of birthday candles. Did you know the candles that are popped up are made to look like they are closer to you?
Now let’s decorate the front of the card! Write the number eleven with a pencil or a pen. You can write your age.
Cut your tissue paper into a small size.
Then crumple the tissue paper and glue it on the number. You can draw any shape or letter instead of the number.
Great! How about making it for your friends or family’s birthdays?
